Craft Your Own Mini Leather Bag with Hands of Tym

A one-day beginner-friendly leatherworking workshop where participants hand-craft a mini leather drawstring bag to take home.

A hands-on one-day workshop at the Pitt Rivers Museum in which participants make a mini leather drawstring bag from scratch. Under step-by-step guidance from Hands of Tym, attendees cut leather, hand stitch, set metal rivets, bevel and burnish edges, and add personalised stamping with initials or a custom message. No prior leatherworking experience is needed and all tools and materials are provided; the ticket price includes lunch and refreshments.
