Kitchen Darkroom Photography

A lo-fi workshop teaching participants how to create experimental, abstract images known as chemigrams.

This workshop focuses on creating experimental, abstract images, or 'chemigrams,' which blend photography and painting. The process involves using light-sensitive paper, photographic chemicals, and household products such as oil, masking tape, lemon juice, and toothpaste. Participants will use plant-based developers alongside traditional darkroom chemicals and will also try making photographic prints using Vaseline and leaves or feathers.
