Cyanotype Printing Workshop

Join the Central Scotland School of Craft for a day of cyanotype printmaking, exploring this darkroom-free photography process on paper and textiles.

This workshop teaches the cyanotype process, one of the earliest photographic methods, which produces an ethereal cyan blue print using only daylight. Participants will learn to coat paper and create prints using traditional dry methods and experimental wet processes. The session covers mixing chemicals, exposing images using daylight or UV lights, and creating photograms with plants or negatives.
