Wanstead Repair Cafe

A volunteer-run repair café where people bring electrical items, bikes, clothing and household goods to be fixed with help from skilled volunteers.

Volunteers from Wanstead Repair Café, working with the Restart Project, help visitors fix electrical and electronic items, bikes, clothing, jewellery and other household items at this drop-in session. Trailnet provides bike MOTs and local volunteers offer garment and minor sewing repairs, alongside a craft stall and refreshments. Visitors are asked to back up data, charge devices and bring leads, and should not expect guaranteed fixes or spare parts.
