Exhibition: A Sense of North
About
A free public exhibition of artworks responding to artists' shifting ideas of north, part of the Art Collection's Year of Topography.
This exhibition in Pathfoot Gallery One presents works reflecting the high north and artists' responses to these shifting places. The featured artists have visited or been inspired by northern landscapes and use their work to frame what north means to them, with highlights including pieces by Sam Ainsley and James Morrison. It forms part of the University of Stirling Art Collection's 2026-7 programme, The Year of Topography, exploring how artists and researchers make sense of changing landscapes. The exhibition can be viewed in the Pathfoot Building, open to the public Monday to Friday, 09:00 to 17:00.
