Christmas Family Masterclass

A hands-on festive chocolate-making masterclass for families at York's Chocolate Story, running on selected dates from late November to December 2026.

This family chocolate-making session, guided by an expert chocolatier, teaches artisan techniques for creating festive treats including ganache-filled truffles, a decorated chocolate lolly, a personalised chocolate bar and festive chocolate shapes such as a candy cane plaque. Participants enjoy a signature hot chocolate while they work, then package and seal their creations to take home, share or give as gifts. The experience lasts approximately 1 hour 30 minutes, is recommended for ages 4 and above, and children up to 15 must be accompanied by a paying adult. It takes place in a basement accessible only via stairs, and dietary requirements can be accommodated with advance notice.
