Thameside Fireworks and Stargazing

A winter evening at Thameside Nature Discovery Park with rooftop views of local fireworks, stargazing and family activities.

Essex Wildlife Trust hosts an evening at Thameside Nature Discovery Park where visitors can watch fireworks lighting up the skies over the estuary, Essex and Kent from the rooftop platform. The centre's café and shop stay open with hot drinks, food and nature-inspired gifts, and activities are laid on in case local fireworks are limited. Doors open at 17:00, the centre closes at 20:30 and the main gate closes at 9pm; the event is outdoors, so warm clothing and a torch are recommended, with indoor options if the weather turns. Under-16s must be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian.
