EYFS STEM Autumn Term
About
A hands-on early years science session for children up to 7 years old, exploring magnetism through a magnet maze activity, with parents staying to support.
The STEM Discovery Centre runs early years sessions for children up to 7 years old, investigating a different theme each time with scientific equipment and free exploration, while parents stay to support. The 23 November session is Magnet Maze, in which children build a simple maze and use magnets to guide a pipe cleaner figure along the path without touching it, exploring how magnets push and pull objects. Sessions last two hours and gloves and aprons are provided where needed. The 28 September session, Dancing Milk Magic, has already taken place.
