About

Restore a piece of furniture on a four-day upholstery course, learning traditional and modern techniques suited to your own project.

Bring a furniture project for guided upholstery practice, from stripping and recovering to sewing cushions and basic wood restoration. Beginners and experienced learners are welcome. Send project photographs before booking so the school can assess suitability, and arrange fabric in advance. The course meets Monday to Thursday, 09:30–15:30, with an hour for lunch. Complex projects may need further work after the course; tutors provide advice on finishing them. Materials are charged separately and one piece of furniture can be stored at the school during the course.
