About
IMAGINED TERRITORIES is a new sculpture and public intervention by Andy Welland that reimagines the flag as a symbol of connection rather than division.
The work uses bright and playful collage to celebrate togetherness, connection, and the joy of being human. It borrows the visual authority of a national flag but refuses to dictate allegiance to any particular nation or ideology. The piece asks viewers to consider what pride, identity, and belonging mean in a complex world.
