Talk and Draw

A free, relaxed weekly drawing and conversation session at The Art House, open to all cultures and communities with no drawing skills needed.

Talk and Draw is a recurring Friday session at The Art House, running 10:00–12:00 until 19 December 2026. Each session is led by an artist, with participants learning new techniques while sharing conversations and stories. All materials are provided and no drawing skills are needed. Part of The Art House's Studio of Sanctuary programme, the sessions bring together people of all communities, including people seeking asylum and refugees, with the wider Wakefield population, and are funded by Creative Minds.
