Peak Rail runs a heritage DMU park-and-ride shuttle from Rowsley South Station to Matlock for the Victorian Matlock Christmas Market over three days in December.
Peak Rail operates a park-and-ride train service for the Victorian Matlock Christmas Market, running on Friday 4th, Saturday 5th and Sunday 6th December 2026. A heritage DMU departs Rowsley South Station, which has a large free car park, for Matlock Platform 2, a five-minute walk from the market, with services roughly hourly and the last departure from Matlock at 18:10. Tickets cost £6 including a £1 booking fee, with accompanied children travelling free; one wheelchair user can be accommodated per train by prior arrangement.
