About
Folk duo Arthur & Kerran perform songs and tunes from their new album Controlled Burn at The Stables' Stage 2.
Arthur Coates and Kerran Cotterell are a folk duo combining fiddle, guitar, foot percussion and close harmonies, blending original compositions with traditional material. The show supports their latest album Controlled Burn, released in February 2026, which leans into original material with driving grooves and modern takes on trad. The pair have become festival favourites, appearing at Sidmouth Folk Week, Shrewsbury Folk Festival and Festival Trad Montréal, and won the Robinson Emerging Artist Showcase at the Goderich Celtic Roots Festival in 2025.
