Creatures of the Night Samhain / Halloween Lino Workshop

A Samhain/Halloween-inspired lino printing workshop with printmaker and folklore artist Abbie Lois at Made in Stirling, open to beginners and improvers aged 17+.

Printmaker and folklore artist Abbie Lois leads a calm, encouraging introduction to relief printmaking inspired by the folklore of Samhain, the night when spirits and otherworldly creatures are said to roam. Over the session participants learn lino printing tools and techniques, how to design a print, safe carving methods and how to print onto paper, taking home their own artwork. All materials and tools are provided, no prior experience is needed, and the workshop is aimed at beginners or improvers, craft lovers and anyone who enjoys folklore, aged 17 and over.
