Dark skies walk

A guided 3-4 mile night walk through Whinlatter Forest with stargazing and constellation spotting led by JAG Outdoors.

Jo from JAG Outdoors leads a 3-4 mile night-time walk around Whinlatter Forest, exploring the trails after dark using all the senses. Weather permitting, the group will stop for stargazing, with amateur astronomer Jo helping identify major constellations using star maps and guides. The route covers varied surfaces that may be wet and muddy, with optional self-guided return points after about 2 miles; well-behaved dogs and children are welcome.
