Christmas Clay Forest Workshop

A hands-on workshop where participants create a small forest of cone-shaped Christmas trees using traditional terracotta clay.

In this relaxed workshop, attendees use traditional hand-building and sculpting techniques to create up to five cone-shaped Christmas trees. Each form is shaped by hand and then decorated with coloured slips, a liquid form of clay, to add pattern and surface detail. The finished pieces are taken away to be fired and glazed if required.
