The Ruislip Lido Railway's popular half-scale steam locomotive Mad Bess will be hauling trains on three dates in late October 2026.
The Ruislip Lido Railway announces that its steam locomotive Mad Bess, a half-scale replica of the Ffestiniog Railway locomotive Blanche, will next be in service on Sunday 25th October, Monday 26th October and Saturday 31st October 2026. Trains run between Woody Bay Station beside the beach and Willow Lawn Station, winding through Ruislip Woods. All trains are wheelchair, pushchair and buggy friendly, and visitors can watch the locomotive being turned on the turntable at Willow Lawn.
