About

A monthly sensory-friendly visit switches off interactive screens and sound effects and raises light levels in the museum; sound effects are also switched off at Burns Cottage.

Sensory-friendly visits take place on the first Tuesday of each month from 15:00 to 17:00. Interactive screens and sound effects are switched off and light levels raised in the museum; sound effects are also switched off at Burns Cottage. The two sites are linked by the Poet’s Path. Standard admission applies, with National Trust for Scotland members admitted free.
