Dressmaking Techniques Class

A five-hour in-person dressmaking workshop at Franklins in Chelmsford teaching core sewing skills for garment making.

This day workshop at Franklins Chelmsford helps participants develop the fundamental skills needed for successful dressmaking projects. Topics covered include hemming, darts, zips, buttonholes, understitching, reading patterns, seam types and finishing methods, and gathering and ease stitching. Refreshments are provided and the class is suitable for everyone aged 18 and over.
