A family woodland adventure trail from the stepping stones to Cavendish Pavilion with obstacles, slides and riverside paths, included with car parking.
The Welly Walk is a roughly one-mile-each-way outdoor adventure trail running from the stepping stones to the Cavendish Pavilion cafe along riverside footpaths at Bolton Abbey. Children tackle obstacles including scramble nets, pole-to-pole crossings and slides, with picnic spots along the route. The trail is unsuitable for wheelchairs or pushchairs due to steep sections and unguarded drops, and children must be supervised throughout.
