Joan Miró: Painting and Poetry

A touring exhibition of 26 Joan Miró lithographs made in response to Surrealist poet Robert Desnos's writings.

This Hayward Gallery Touring exhibition from the Southbank Centre brings together 26 vibrant lithographs Joan Miró created in response to the writings of French Surrealist poet Robert Desnos. The works highlight Miró's inventive printmaking, showing how image and text meet through intuition, accident and emotional resonance rather than literal interpretation. The exhibition runs in the gallery's spaces, which open 30 minutes later than the ground floor.
