English Touring Opera: Orpheus & Eurydice

English Touring Opera presents a new retelling of Gluck's Orpheus & Eurydice, blending re-composed Gluck material with electronic arrangements.

English Touring Opera brings a new version of the Orpheus myth to the Queen's Theatre, in which Orpheus ventures into the Underworld to reclaim Eurydice, his journey becoming a shifting world where memory and reality collide. Composer Leo Grant weaves new instrumental and electronic re-arrangements and re-compositions of Gluck's material into the original score. The production features a dynamic ensemble of singers and dancers under the direction of Iwan Davies and Jenny Ogilvie.
