Make Your Own Mosaic
About
A hands-on mosaic workshop where participants hand-cut vintage crockery and reclaimed tiles to create a mounted mosaic piece.
This workshop teaches the art of hand-cutting and shaping mosaic fragments using vintage crockery and reclaimed ceramic tiles, with guidance from artist Rach, a former Senior Designer for brands including Disney and Nickelodeon. Participants can choose from pre-made templates such as The Smiley Face, The Retro Flower or The All-Seeing Eye. All tools, materials and mounting hardware are provided, and because the adhesive needs 48 hours to cure, Rach grouts, polishes and mounts each finished piece in her studio afterwards for collection ready to hang.
