About
A full-day in-person training for EMDR therapists on understanding and working with dissociation across all eight phases of the EMDR protocol.
Dr Sharon Croskin leads a day of professional training on the dynamics of dissociation when working with complex trauma clients through all eight phases of the EMDR protocol. The programme covers theory of structural dissociation, ego states and parts, neurobiological mechanisms including attachment trauma, and safe history-taking in Phase 1. Phase 2 content includes assessment tools such as SCID-D, TADS-I and MID, plus approaches including the Pre-Verbal protocol, fractionated titration and CIPOS, with case material and sand tray EMDR work illustrating Phases 3 to 8. Attendees will share in groups and pairs, including discussion of EDI issues, and the session runs in person only and will not be recorded.
