Attachment in Practice
About
A one-day CPD workshop for counsellors and mental health professionals exploring attachment patterns and dynamics in therapeutic relationships.
This one-day Saturday workshop at Willows Counselling Service explores how attachment unfolds in therapeutic relationships, examining how different patterns show up in clients and practitioners and how these dynamics shape the work. Through discussion, practical exercises and real-world examples, participants learn to recognise attachment styles and the activation, distancing, pull-toward and repair cycles. The session also considers how a well-held attachment relationship can support insight, regulation and growth. It is designed as CPD for counsellors, psychotherapists and other mental health or caring professionals, and runs 5 hours 30 minutes with refreshment and lunch breaks.
