RRS x Arika: Curating Absolute Disorder

A free in-conversation event with Françoise Vergès and Dr Nat Raha on decolonising the museum, part of Arika's Episode 12.

Françoise Vergès gives a short lecture on her book A Programme of Absolute Disorder: Decolonizing the Museum, examining the colonial history of Western art collections and the idea of a 'post-museum'. She is then joined in conversation by Dr Nat Raha to discuss decolonial curatorial practice. The event is co-hosted by the Glasgow School of Art's Fine Art Critical Studies department and the Race, Rights & Sovereignty series, and forms part of Arika's Episode 12: From the Rivers to the Seas.
