STARLAC Peer Bereavement Support

A free peer support group for people grieving the loss of an adult child, meeting in a confidential, non-judgemental space.

STARLAC Peer Bereavement Support brings together people who have lost an adult child, offering support from those who have experienced similar loss. Sessions are led by the group itself, with volunteers facilitating, so participants talk about whatever they need on the day. Some choose to share their experiences while others prefer simply to listen; the group does not provide formal therapy. Sessions run 2.30pm–4pm in a meeting room at Storyhouse.
