A beginner-friendly full-day bookbinding workshop with artist Maisie Keller, making three handmade books.
Artist and printmaker Maisie Keller leads a relaxed, hands-on introduction to bookbinding at The Artist's Barn in Boyton, Wiltshire. Over the 10:30am–3pm session, participants learn core binding structures and techniques and make three books to take home: a pamphlet booklet, a Japanese stab-bound sketchbook and a Coptic stitch journal. Topics include paper selection, sewing methods and tips for continuing at home; all materials are provided, with an optional £20 take-home tool kit available. The workshop is aimed at beginners and all ages, though the venue is not wheelchair accessible.
