About
Guided evening visits combine a short astronomy talk, planetarium presentation and tours of the historic telescopes and Lockyer Technology Centre.
The five published dates feature talks on the autumn sky, Taurus and the Pleiades, Mars, the winter sky and the Geminid meteors. Doors open at 19:15; the planned programme begins at 19:30 with a short talk, followed by a planetarium presentation at 20:00 and telescope and Technology Centre tours from 20:30. Live imaging follows when skies are clear.
