About

Ropetackle Storytellers stage Robert Louis Stevenson’s Gothic tale of Dr Henry Jekyll and the increasingly monstrous Mr Hyde, using puppetry, physical theatre and dark humour. Amelia Ace Armande and Joshua Crisp perform the adaptation.

Lawyer Gabriel Utterson investigates blackmail and murder connected to his friend Dr Henry Jekyll, uncovering the link to Mr Hyde. Ropetackle Storytellers blend Stevenson’s text with puppetry, physical theatre and dark humour. The two performers are Amelia Ace Armande and Joshua Crisp.
