Introduction to Playwriting

A four-week adult course at The Met introducing the basics of writing for the stage.

This fun and relaxed course for adults new to writing explores the craft of playwriting, covering dialogue, creating compelling characters and plotting. Weekly workshops combine group discussion with individual writing exercises, with each session building on the last. The course runs on Tuesday evenings from 3 to 24 November, and participants are asked to attend all four sessions.
