Autumn Ikebana

A display of three autumnal ikebana arrangements by practitioners of the Ikenobō, Ohara and Sōgetsu schools at Japan House London.

This autumn display presents three seasonal ikebana arrangements in the ground floor of Japan House London, created by practitioners of the Ikenobō, Ohara and Sōgetsu schools. Ikebana, also known as kadō, originated over 550 years ago in Japan and has since developed into numerous schools, each with its own philosophy and style. The arrangements offer a glimpse into the diversity of contemporary ikebana.
