JCB Factory Tour
About
A guided two-hour behind-the-scenes tour of the JCB factory in Rocester, including the Story of JCB exhibition and the Backhoe Loader assembly line.
The visit begins with welcome refreshments and a short presentation in the JCB Theatre, followed by a guided tour of the 'Story of JCB' exhibition with time to visit the JCB shop. The tour then moves to the Backhoe Loader assembly line, showing the manufacturing process from sheet steel delivery through profiling, laser cutting, welding, painting and assembly to the finished machine. Tours last two hours, are available Monday 13:00-15:00 or Friday 09:30-11:30, and have a minimum age of 15; sensible closed-toe footwear is required.
