Somerset Brick and Tile Museum Tour and Tile Demonstration

A guided tour of Somerset Brick and Tile Museum, home to the last bottle brick kiln in Somerset, followed by a hand-made roof tile demonstration.

A member of the museum team leads a tour lasting around an hour, covering Bridgwater's brick and tile making industry, the clay-to-brick process and the lives of the workers. The visit includes the last bottle brick kiln in Somerset. The tour is followed by a demonstration of hand making a roof tile. The event is suitable for adults and lasts about 90 minutes.
