About
Project Smok bring their contemporary neo-trad Scottish and Irish folk sound to the Old Fruitmarket as part of Celtic Connections 2027.
The Glasgow trio Project Smok, built around the whistle and pipe playing of Ali Levack, perform at the Old Fruitmarket as part of Celtic Connections 2027. Their 'neo-trad' sound combines traditional Scottish and Irish melodies with modern influences, driving rhythms and inventive arrangements. The band features Ali Levack alongside Ewan Baird and Pablo Lafuente, blending soaring tunes and intricate interplay with powerful grooves and atmospheric moments.
