A one-day course from the National Self Build & Renovation Centre aimed at people planning a first self build, renovation, loft conversion or home improvement. Delivered by project manager Lucy Nylander of CLPM, it covers budgeting, insurance and warranties, VAT reclaim, sourcing and managing trades, contract options, site management, health and safety and completion. The programme runs from project management basics and build routes through to sequencing the build and avoiding pitfalls.
