A one-day course at the NSBRC in Swindon covering heating options and sustainable energy choices for self-build and renovation projects.
This one-day course at the National Self Build & Renovation Centre is presented by expert Rob Bohm of CLPM. It covers energy fundamentals, including technologies such as solar, battery storage and heat pumps, comparative fuel costs and how to calculate payback terms. Sessions also address legislative requirements including Passivhaus and SAP ratings, available incentives, and how building elements should be designed, specified and installed to maximise their potential. The course runs from 9am to 5:30pm.
