Creative Textiles Grimsby

A one-day adult workshop in Grimsby exploring dyeing, inks, paints and free-motion machine embroidery to create textile artwork.

Thread and Press CIC runs this six-hour Creative Textiles session at The Grimbarians Studio in Grimsby. Participants experiment with dyes, inks and paints to create background surfaces, then learn free-motion machine embroidery to stitch linear drawings onto their work, with optional hand embroidery. No experience is required and all materials, fabrics, threads and equipment are provided, with tuition from Holly, a teacher of over 15 years. The venue is stairs-access only and the course is for adults aged 16 and over.
