About
A creative textiles workshop where participants learn dyeing techniques and free-motion machine embroidery to create textile artwork.
This session teaches participants how to dye cottons and silks, and how to use free-motion machine embroidery to create textile artwork. The course involves exploring dyes, inks, and paints to create background surfaces and then stitching designs onto them. Participants will learn to use a free-motion machine to create linear stitch drawings and can incorporate optional hand embroidery.
