A family-friendly guided tour of the RAF Museum Midlands with hands-on RAF stories and a chance to board an iconic aircraft.
This family-friendly guided tour brings RAF history to life through stories such as a lucky penguin mascot and a pilot landing with a wing on fire, exploring wartime flying, castor oil engine trouble and the teamwork behind RAF missions. Tours run at 11:00am and last until 12:30pm, with a maximum of 12 people per tour. The tour ends with the chance to step aboard an aircraft — the VC10 from February half term to October and the Belfast from November to February half term — including sitting in the captain's cockpit seat.
