The Smarter Business Programme – Create Capacity Through Better Systems

A three-hour workshop helping rural SMEs simplify systems, reduce admin and identify one practical digital improvement to free up capacity.

This is the third session in The Smarter Business Programme, a workshop series from South of Scotland Enterprise aimed at rural SMEs. Participants examine where time is lost through manual processes and duplicated admin, translate pain points into system requirements, and assess digital and automation opportunities on value, feasibility, risk and adoption effort. It is not a technical software course; attendees leave with a prioritised improvement backlog, outline requirements, a risk checklist and one minimum viable pilot. The session is facilitated by Cynthia Moore, a coach with over 20 years' experience in operations and automation.
