Thackray Lates: Grave Expectations – Gothic Fiction Unmasked

An after-hours gothic programme combines anatomy demonstrations, talks, tarot, ghost stories, crafts and a live DJ set.

The evening explores connections between gothic fiction, health and science. Its programme includes pathologist Matthew Betts dissecting animal organs; talks by Brontë Schiltz and Dr Rosie Whitcombe; tarot with Hector Hemlock; spooky stories by Leeds writer Matthew Bellwood; curator talks with Dr Jack Gann; Scream Printing with North or Nowt; and music from Leeds DJ Weak Spell.
