Founded in 1946, Blackburn Artists' Society marks its 80th anniversary in 2026 with an exhibition titled "Day and Night" at Queen Street Mill Textile Museum. The society's members have spent years sketching and painting at venues across Lancashire, from industrial sites and historic houses to breweries, gardens, beaches and landscapes, and the show brings together these depictions of landscapes, wildlife, history and people. Entrance to the exhibition is free and the artwork is available to purchase.
