Seen: ShiZi Improv Theatre & Ingmar – Improvised Bergman – Teater Prego
About
A double bill of improvised theatre at Birmingham Improv Festival: ShiZi Improv Theatre's Seen and Teater Prego's Ingmar – Improvised Bergman.
Seen features two improvisers with theatrical backgrounds who take a single real message from an audience member — a text, work email or wrong number — and spin it into characters, heartfelt moments and comedy, creating a brand-new show every time. In the second half, Sweden's Teater Prego uses stories, myths and prejudices about Ingmar Bergman as tools, improvising through a world of people, demons, environments, light and shadow that stretches and contradicts the familiar Bergman universe. The show is part of the Birmingham Improv Festival 2026, whose pass gives access to every show across four days.
