The Pretend Comedy

The Pretend Company perform improvised theatre blending heartfelt characters and real-feeling relationships with comedy, as part of Birmingham Improv Festival.

The Pretend Company, an improv troupe working across London and Southend, present improvised theatre that balances heartfelt, three-dimensional characters and believable relationships with belly laughs and absurd flights of fancy. The show is performed by a cast of veteran improvisers and forms part of the Birmingham Improv Festival 2026, with a festival pass available giving access to every show across four days.
