About

A free photography exhibition by Joanne Coates exploring the role of women in agriculture, shown in Holeslack barn at Sizergh.

Documentary photographer Joanne Coates presents an exhibition examining women's role in agriculture, drawing on five years of research and creative work. New portraits and landscapes from the Yorkshire Dales and Cumbria are shown alongside earlier work from Northumberland and the Scottish Borders, focusing on the women working the land in South Lakeland. The exhibition is hosted in Holeslack barn on the accessible Holeslack trail, with an accessible route suitable for wheelchairs and prams, and children are welcome.
