AI Cup 2026

A one-day AI hackathon for LBS and non-LBS student teams to build and pitch a demo solving a real business problem, with an online kickoff the night before.

AI Cup 2026 is a student hackathon challenging teams of two to three to pick a real business problem and show one key step of an AI-powered idea working. It opens with an evening online kickoff on Friday 13 November where the problem is released, followed by an in-person sprint at London Business School on the Saturday, from doors at 09:00 to a top-eight final ending at 18:30 with ten-minute pitches including Q&A. Teams submit a one-page business case alongside a working demo, with over £2,000 in prizes plus tool credits for participants. Breakfast and lunch are included and the format is provisional, with venue and challenge tracks still to be confirmed.
