Open Day

Open days at a preserved railway signal box with signalling demonstrations, interactive exhibits, a miniature lever frame and a garden railway.

Romsey Signal Box opens to the public on selected days, with demonstrations of signalman's work in the preserved box and chances for visitors to have a go. The site also includes a miniature lever frame based on Cowley Bridge Junction, the Audrey Gebbie Discovery Centre with interactive signalling exhibits, a garden railway, a café and a book stall. Opening hours are 11am to 4pm with last entry at 3.45pm.
