About
A daytime adult-education session exploring the medieval poem Sir Gawain and the Green Knight in Simon Armitage's translation, led by tutor Carol Perrett.
This single-session course examines the medieval poem Sir Gawain and the Green Knight through Simon Armitage's translation, asking why the tale of a mysterious knight still grips readers in the 21st century. Tutor Carol Perrett leads the discussion, with extracts provided, though participants are encouraged to read or listen to the poem beforehand. The session runs for two and a half hours at the Guildford Institute.
