Mold Daniel Owen Centre

A free volunteer-run repair cafe where people bring broken items to be fixed while enjoying tea and coffee with neighbours.

Repair Cafe Wales runs this community repair session at the Daniel Owen Centre in Mold, where volunteer repairers attempt to fix broken or damaged items brought along by visitors, free of charge. Typical repairs include basic bicycle maintenance, electrical appliance repair, computing assistance, sewing, ornament repair and woodworking, though microwaves are excluded for safety reasons. While waiting, visitors can enjoy tea or coffee and chat with neighbours, and repairers will demonstrate how fixes are done. The session runs from 12:30pm to 2:30pm, with further dates listed in December and January.
